PROYECTO ETWINNING 2018/2019: "CULTURE IN A BOX" ENGLAND, PORTUGAL, ITALY, SPAIN, TURKEY.

El curso 2018/2019 continuamos nuestra andadura en los Proyectos Europeos eTwinning con un nuevo proyecto titulado “CULTURE IN A BOX”, que engloba más países europeos (Inglaterra, Portugal, Italia, Turquía y España) y que estamos realizando toda la comunidad educativa coordinada por el equipo bilingüe con nuestro colegio amigo: “Drew Primary School” de Londres.

El proyecto trató sobre "CULTURAL HERITAGE" o "PATRIMONIO CULTURAL", de ahí, que hayamos diseñado actividades relacionadas con este ámbito.

Información del proyecto

Para celebrar el año del "Patrimonio Cultural", nosotros queremos organizar un proyecto que nos permita conocernos unos a otros mejor. Queremos conocer mejor nuestras culturas y compartir actividades inspiradas en la creatividad, el respeto y la ciudadanía. 

To celebrate Cultural Heritage, we wanted to organise a project which let us know each other better. 
We have wanted to go further in the understanding of other cultures, sharing activities inspired in creativity, respect and citizenship.

 

OBJETIVOS

Con este proyecto nos gustaría que nuestros estudiantes exploren las semejanzas y diferencias entre la cultura de nuestro país y las de los países compañeros.

Divertirse compartiendo experiencias memorables, conociendonos y respetandonos unos a otros. También enviaremos los unos a los otros en una caja diferentes objetos que representen la cultura de nuestro país.

Los estudiantes tendrán la oportunidad de intercambiar actividades y explorar diferentes ideas y conocer la realidad de otras personas en sus lugares de origen. 

With this project we would like our students to explore the similarities and differences between our country's culture and that of or partner schools.

Have fun in sharing memorable experiences, knowing and respecting each other. We will be also sent to each other different items in a box that represent our country’s culture and send them to our partner schools. 
Students will the opportunity to exchange activities and to explore the collections of ten items and gain insight into other peoples’ reality in their national and local community.

 

PROCESO DE TRABAJO

Dos colegios (DREW PRIMARY SCHOOL y COLEGIO BADIEL) organizarán las actividades y las fechas finales. Otros colegios participarán en el proyecto, tantos como nosotros incluyamos.

La duración del proyecto será para todo el curso 2018/2019 y para todos los cursos de Primaria y también Educación Infantil. 

Estas son las actividades planeadas:

Two schools (DREW PRIMARY SCHOOL AND BADIEL SCHOOL) will be organising the activities and the dead lines. Other schools will participate in the project as many as we can recruit.
As stated before the project will last the school year of 2018-2019 and it will target all age groups in Primary and kindergarden

ACTIVITY 1

What is on your mind? ¿Qué es lo que piensas?

What’s on your mind? The teacher creates an online mind map, writes the expression CULTURAL HERITAGE in the middle of the mind map and asks pupils to come up with ideas that can be associated with the given expression. Pupils write their ideas. The mind map is shared with all the partner schools so that all the pupils can participate in this mind mapping activity.

Pedagogical Objectives

1) To help pupils to identify, explore, and become aware of European values.

2) To raise pupils’ awareness of European cultural heritage and its values.

3) To assist pupils to identify European linguistic diversity and become aware of the importance of learning European languages.

4) To develop pupils’ insight into the similarities and differences among nations.

ACTIVITY2:

Don't bully, act kindly, live happily No al acoso, se amable, vive feliz.

Children will explain what behaviour strategy they use at their schools. 
Children will explain what is to be a good friend and a bad friend.

Make an anti-bulling video.

The activity focuses on a phenomenon that, in all likelihood, occurs at almost all schools – bullying. The pupils address the forms and effects of bullying in many different ways and attempt to find various approaches to a solution.

Y4 (8,9 años)

Show and tell – Pupils or teachers organise an assembly on anti-bulling partners. We could use it to show in our school websites or toe used in workshop for parents and carers.

RESULTADOS ESPERADOS

We will learn from this project different pedagogical strategies. like this years project, there will be regular communication with all the participants from Etwinning but also using "google classroom", "whats up", e mails and the schools websites and twitter accounts to inform parents, carers and everybody who follow us.

In our schools there is a clear aspiration of promoting diversity and respect, therefore aspects from this opportunity could be considered when revising our Inclusion or other policies.
